Music is for everyone and playing a Recorder is brilliant for all ages. The focus of this site is the ADULT Amateur player and is a central information source for the  Recorder community in Brisbane and SEQ -  classes,  groups , workshops or links to other sitesThere are hundreds of years of music written for the Recorder family of instruments, including the fabulous modern repertoire. It deserves to be played.

Brisbane Recorder Orchestra

First Performance on this Sat 30th Nov -  6pm at Anglican church 68 Hawthorne St Wooloongabba.

 Kathy WIlliams-Devries will be conducting the Brisbane Recorder Orchestra  this Saturday evening at their very first public performance.  Carol singing on the terrace and inside the church will commence at 6pm. All welcome.

# NEW -   Brisbane Recorder Orchestra  PLAYERS WANTED 

Players of Alto or lower Recorders are invited to join the Orchestra to be conducted by Kathy Williams-DeVries. Please see the menu page for more details. Rehearsals for confident players of Alto or lower of at least Grade 4 musical standard ( any instrument) and who want to perform are encouraged to send an email to Rehearsals are fortnightly on Wed 6:30-8:30pm Wooloongabba.
